September is Suicide Prevention Awareness Month. Girls from all over metro-Detroit are making videos to offer personal stories and advice to their peers about valuing themselves and the girls around them. The videos can be found at Girlfriends’ Glasshouse Empowerment Facebook page! Check out Brielle Wolfolk, 16, as she discusses the importance of Self Love. My goal is for young girls, who struggles with low-self esteem, to find their worth and unconditional love within. Please encourage the young girls in your circle to discuss ways to promote self love for themselves.
